The principle of lineage is simply the fact that you are not alone. You do not walk this path alone as you realize your essence nature. You walk with the loving support of those who have walked the path before you. When you orient to the possibility that there is a blessing energy from those who have walked this path before you, you can actually feel this undefinable current of support that we can only call grace. When we invoke the principle of lineage, we honor all of our teachers... all those who transmit uplifting wisdom to us, without needing to idolize them. We invite our teacher's wisdom into our open hearts in a sacred bond of trust to help us find our way back home. Invoking the principle of lineage in our practice is a powerful source of support on the spiritual path we can source for empowerment and possibility.
Knowing that others have walked this path before me, knowing that other human beings have realized their essence nature here on earth, constitutes a powerful foundation and source of support to know that I am not doing this alone. No one can do this alone. I am blessed to know that I am loved, guided and supported. I am grateful to know that I can call upon this immense wisdom anytime in any way that works best for me. It is an honor to connect with those who have walked the path before me and connect to the power of lineage and the benevolent intention of each of my teachers. May all other living beings realized this wellspring source connection to unconditional love, peace and joy. Om.
