I'm here to empower children with evidence-based mindfulness, movement, social emotional awareness + practice as a life skill. I'm passionate about big emotions and SEL for all ages, from 8 days to 108 years old. I've worked with SEL, yoga and children for over 8 years.
My naturally playful and imaginative yoga practice began in 2008. This site is a collection of some of my favorite mindful practices for children. Being able to recognize, name, and innerstand feelings affects everything from learning, decision making, and creativity, to interpersonal relationships, physical and mental health, goal attainment and dream achievement.
When we empower children with skills to live healthy lives with lovingly connected interpersonal relationships, we free the world from suffering. Teaching children that they can trust love through physicalness, empowerment and possibility creates a safe space where growth is encouraged to happen as a natural byproduct of play.
